Everyone will pay for their own charges.
Bar Lazy L Ranch invites you to join us for a sleigh ride and dinner. Their family has been living in the valley since the 1800s and has a passion for bringing a piece of this sleepy, western, ski town's past, to life. To get a feel for what their rides are like, they have information, pictures, and resources on their website. However, their pictures and descriptions only do so much. To truly appreciate the entire experience of tastes, sights, stories, jokes and great times, you will just have to come and enjoy the old western thrill of a horse-drawn winter sleigh ride, live western entertainment, and a hearty country dinner in Steamboat Springs.
After getting picked up in Steamboat at the "Gondola Transit Center" it is about a 20 minute ride to the ranch where you will go on a sleigh ride along the Elk River Valley through the trees and valley. Once back to the ranch, dinner is served in their remodeled barn, and includes western music and a ranch style meal. Cost is approximately $125 per person and advanced reservations are required. This may sell out quickly as we cannot reserve spots for just UTC. However, when you make a reservation, designate the “Gondola Transit Center” for pickup and when asked what you want for dinner, add that you are with Up the Creek so we can be seated together. To reserve your spot go to https://www.barlazylranch.com . They only have room for 60 people per night. If you are interested in joining us, please sign up as soon as possible, for this date could sell out.
If we get at least 15-20 to sign up, they will pick us up directly at The Lodge.

Cancellation Policy:
Up the Creek Ski and Recreation Club (“UTC”) has a No Refund Policy for events/trips/activities.
Exceptions to this policy are granted as follows:
[* Medical, injury or death]: A personal medical condition or injury to you with a doctor’s involvement; death in the immediate family (parents, siblings, children, grandparents, NOTE: pets DO NOT count). The registrant cancelling must be able to provide relevant documentation regarding the injury, medical condition or death to obtain a full cancellation refund;
[* The trip is cancelled]: In some circumstances a trip will be cancelled for all registrants. NOTE: If the venue cancels the trip then UTC must receive its refund from the venue before they can issue refunds.
[* Someone cancels for any other reason]: In this case an exception is granted ONLY if the cancelled spot is filled. In the case where a cancelled spot is filled, a cancellation fee is applied based on the price of the trip and the balance is refunded.
Trips priced at $500 or higher: $100 cancellation fee.
Trips priced from $200 to $499: $50 cancellation fee.
Trips price at $199 or lower: $25 cancellation fee.
If you cancel in the seven days prior to the trip start date, you will only be eligible for a refund if the cancellation is due to injury/illness/death and you have provided the proper documentation to the Trip Leader.
You MUST go through your trip leader/host to cancel and seek reimbursement. If you meet the refund requirements, UTC will refund the credit card used for the trip/event payment for the amount that you paid minus any applicable service fee. Please allow up to thirty (30) days from the event/trip/activity end date for any refund checks, credit card refunds, or comps to be issued. Cancellations are typically processed in the order received.

[*] Under no circumstances may a participant advertise their trip for sale.
[*] Only your trip leader/host can fill your spot.
