OPTIONAL CARPOOLING TRIP to
MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 25th, 2024,
early departure Sunday morning from the hotel.
Mesa Verda National Park entrance is located on U.S. Highway 160 West, about 40 minutes from our hotel.
From the park entrance to the tour site is approximately
75 minutes or more of travel time plus a 15 minute orientation.
DETAILS:
America The Beautiful Pass and The Senior Pass admits the "pass owner" and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle, at per-vehicle fee areas and pass owner plus three adults, not to excees 4 adults; where per person fees are charged. We can see about sharing, however, be prepared to pay an entrance fee if required.
National Park Tours are additional to entrance fees.

The tour starts 75 minutes from the park entrance at the Cliff Palace Overlook, near the Cliff Palace parking lot. Cliff Palace is the largest cliff dwelling in North America. Built between 1190 and 1280 CE, Cliff Palace was once home to over 100 people. Today, it stands as a testament to the engineering and artistic achievements of the Ancestral Pueblo people.
If you plan on reserving a second tour on the same day, give yourself a minimum of 2 hours between the time you book this Cliff Palace tour and a Balcony House tour (e.g., an 11:00 A.M. Cliff Palace tour requires a 1:00 P.M. or later Balcony House tour).
This additional tour is on your own and not organized as a UTC group participation.
