Join our annual weekend getaway to Steamboat Springs! Lots to do, go on a hike, enjoy golf, tennis, a bike ride, or inner tube through the beautiful scenery around Steamboat! Lodging at Trappeurs Crossing, for 3 nights, Friday night thru check out Monday morning, Friday Night Happy Hour Welcome party, Saturday night Pot Luck party all included! No hot air balloons this year but we will have plenty of other things to do!
HIKE - Hike Fish Creek Falls, Rabbit Ears, or Mad Creek Trail.
ENJOY The WATER - Go tubing down the Yampa River, soak in the hot tubs at Strawberry Park Hot Springs, take a scenic drive over to Steamboat Lake, grab a paddleboard, or hit the pristine waters at Pearl Lake, or cast a line at Stagecoach Reservoir.
Bike- Will have an organized 2 hour bike ride on the cement trails in the town of Steamboat Springs. Bring your own bike or rent one in the town.
Golf- Last year we had about 8 people who went golfing, will probably have the same participation this year.
LEISURELY - Stroll through the Yampa River Botanic Park, visit art galleries, and the downtown stores.

Below is the Itinerary for the Summer 2020 Steamboat Springs trip and more info on some of the details of the trip. (This is subject to change due to Covid19)
What to bring: We are staying in condos with full kitchens, so bring some food to cook and share! Bring a bathing suit for the Hot Tub party on Saturday in the 4 hot tubs by the main club house, BYOB. If you bring beverages for the hot tub remember no glass.
ITINERARY
*Friday July 10th:
5:00pm to 10:00pm – Exclusive UTC Welcome & Meet n Greet Party in one of the Emerald Condos E5104- Hawaiian Luau Theme
Saturday July 11th :
9:00am – 3pmish – Hike Rabbit Ears Pass as a group. Meet at the shuttle drop off area again to carpool over to the hiking area. Bring sunscreen, your packed lunch, lots of water, and rain gear.
6:00pm - UTC Potluck Party! This will be in one of the Emerald Condos E5104 Bikers & Babes Theme
Sunday July 12th:
8:00 am - ??? Alternate Hike or Golf if someone wants to organize? Lorna has T times for the golfers...
9:00 am – 12pm - Meet at the shuttle drop off area just outside Trappers’ main front desk to carpool over to the bike rental shop. 2 hour bike ride on the paved town bike paths.
12:15pm – Meet for a Group lunch at TBD
2:00pm-5pmish – Tubing -Meet at Backdoor Sports shop location at 841 Yampa Street for Tubing on the Yampa! $20 for tube rental, life vest, and shuttle ride back after the ride is over. For more info go to: http://backdoorsports.com/tubing-information
5:30pm-7:30pm - Cocktails and Dinner at The Ore House, will have to break the group up into tables of 8 people, please let Curtis know if you want to be included. Everyone pays their own. Meet at 5:30 pm to carpool over.
8:45 pm Meet at the shuttle drop off area just outside Trappers’ main front desk to carpool over to Strawberry Hot Springs, the best hot springs in Colorado! 30 minute drive. $15 entrance fee, cash only, BRING A FLASHLIGHT, It’s clothing optional after dark, very little lighting, it’s very dark out! Trip Participants only: We have a designated rooming list for each condo and each room in the condo; please stick to the rooming list! If there is an issue with your room contact one of your trip leaders. Overnight guests and crashers are NOT allowed.

If you’re Driving to Steamboat:
Take I-70 West, at the Dillon/Silverthorne Exit #205, proceed North on the CO-9 for approx 38 miles. At Kremmling turn left on to US Hwy 40 West and continue for approx 50 miles over Rabbit Ears Pass. Just before reaching Steamboat Springs take the Mount Werner Road exit on your right, go about 1/3 of a mile, turn left on Village Drive, Trappers’ Crossing will be on your immediate right at 2900 Village Drive. Or, If I-70 is a mess take I-70 to Hwy 40 Exit 232 over Berthoud Pass thru Winter Park, to Steamboat.
